Ashbourne Show

R M Yeomans had a successful stand at the recent Ashbourne Show held in August.  Meeting old and new clients, we were fortunate that the organisers had placed us immediately opposite the President's Tent and the Members' Grandstand.  Indeed this year's President of the show, Mr Jim Boden, congratulated Rohan and Joy on their efforts and found the machinery most interesting.

We would like thank our low-loader hauliers Nigel and Simon Woolliscroft for their efforts in setting up the machinery for us on the Friday - and we were helped by good weather throughout the set up and during the Show.  Past President Mr Peter Hollingsworth found the forestry machinery most interesting and a change from the normal tractors he is used to.  Our show neighbours, Oxdale Products, who were demonstrating their wood splitters had a very good day and we both enjoyed the trade generated from being next to each other - we wish Chris and the team well.

Next Show: Sept 18th-20th, Cannock Chase

See us at our next trade show in September, we shall be exhibiting at the APF Forestry Show at Cannock Chase, Staffordshire from the 18th to the 20th September 2008 - come along and see us on stand D7.  Rohan and the lads will be on the stand to meet old and new clients, and all being well, will be showing the Timbermaster Skyline and space permitting some forestry equipment.

Trailer Theft

Stolen from our yard on the 20th  August 2008 mid morning ,a small GD84 Ifor Williams Trailer stolen  by a white transit van registration no. NF04 EBC, driver white male; a van seen hanging around previously could also have been NB04 EBC - Joy attempted to stop the van from driving out of the yard but it drove straight at her and the children, who had to jump into the ditch - narrowly escaping injury!  The theft was caught on CCTV but it appears the van is unregistered!  I hope these ******* have a conscience - but they don't do they?- it left both children and wife traumatised!
